All shows before 1:00pm are “matinee priced” at $7.00. This includes recurring special days like:
1) DIAPER DAY MATINEES – Tuesdays Once weekly, we will run (usually) the week’s big release) in low-light conditions with lower volume settings, with new parents and their wee guests allowed to make the noises that new parents and their wee guests tend to make. The film will also run in the “open caption” format, with the subtitles on the screen (regardless of what language the film is in).
2) OPEN CAPTION MATINEES – Thursdays
In order to better serve our deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons, we offer a weekly chance to catch the week’s big film in the open-caption format, with the subtitles on the screen (regardless of what language the film is in). (Also, a limited number of amplifying headphones are available at any show, regardless of the time it runs.)
3) CLASSIC MOVIE MATINEES – Wednesdays Metropolis. The General. Charade. His Girl Friday. Remember these oldies-but-goodies? Once weekly, we will offer one classic film, and usually, the month is themed by genre.
4) SUNDAY BRUNCH FLICKS – some Sundays @ 11:00am
Enjoy the week’s big release with a bagel, coffee, fresh fruit, and juice (and mimosas after noon!).
Tickets for the special events below are available by clicking the posters. If a film is playing multiple times in a week, it is not necessary to buy tickets in advance, so just show up at the Cinema 15-20 minutes before show time for best seat selection.
